Everyone has mental health. Living in today’s world can be stressful. Mental health is a spectrum. It can fluctuate with what life can throw at us. In our Mental Health First Response™ accredited CPD certificated course we look at what mental health means and how it can affect our lives. We learn about the different conditions that people may experience and what we can do to help them and ourselves. We consider ways to  reduce stigma and change culture, helping us all to live mentally healthier lives.  

We also offer the First Aid for Mental Health SQA/RQF qualification by studying learning resources online and over webinars or in-person in the classroom, guided by a qualified Trainer/Assessor.

Technology is part of our everyday lives at home, at work and in wider society. This course helps learners to think about their use and interactions with digital technology for their health and wellbeing, and introduces strategies for dealing with any negative effects of digital technology for ourselves and others.

Mindfulness MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) is a proven, scientific method of managing stressful situations, which helps to enhance performance. It is a way to cultivate a balanced relationship with oneself in relation to the realities we all face in day to day life.

Learners will develop techniques to experience mindfulness that they can incorporate into daily practice. The supplementary materials provide an in- depth understanding of the benefits of mindfulness for everyone’s personal and professional life.
