Director of Education & Learning Design

Chris Sheridan (MScEd, MScMM, FHEA, CMALT) is responsible for learning design and online delivery. She has over 15 years’ experience in education and L&D. Chris is a specialist in technology and digital learning. She has worked extensively within the public and private sector, including the NHS, The University of Edinburgh and global corporations.

Dr Laura Hodges
Mental Health & Wellbeing​

Dr Laura Hodges has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is manager at The Scottish Mental Health Research Network which forms part of NHS Research Scotland. She aims to increase the number of active mental health studies in Scotland and supports academic and commercial studies across a wide range of clinical areas (e.g. depression, schizophrenia, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, learning disabilities).

Linzi Morrison
Head of Partnerships

Linzi Morrison (BA Hons, MA) has worked in recruitment and HR for 20 years and is a passionate people practitioner. Linzi has extensive experience of team and stakeholder management, including within a remote and hybrid capacity, and is focused on helping organisations unlock performance and results through improved employee engagement.

Linda Berrie
Disability & Mental Health​

Linda Berrie has worked in education and social work for the past 24 years. She specialises in disability, social care and mental health training for the public, private and voluntary sector. She currently works with Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland. She has various Autism, Disability and Mental Health qualifications and is a Supervisor for Mental Health First Aid.​

Susie Cavill

Menopause & Disability

Susie has worked with telephone and online addictions counselling and advice lines for 20 years. She writes about mental health and personal development for UK and North American publications. She designs and delivers online workshops on writing/art as therapy and self care techniques.

Kathleen Harkins
Leadership Development & Behavioural Change

Kathleen Harkins has worked in Learning & Development for 20+ years. As a People Development Consultant and Coach, she works with leadership roles, helping to make the shift to strategic thinking. Her facilitation of team development and business improvement workshops have helped drive real behavioural change. Kathleen is an NLP practitioner.

Dr Joanna Alexjuk

Dr Joanna Alexjuk (PhD, MSc , BA Hons) has over 20 years’ experience of working within academia, health, statutory, private and voluntary sectors. She is an independent consultant for UK based organisations such as Dementia UK and has worked as a National Trainer for 12+ years. Joanna is a leading expert in dementia and delivers training for the Universities and The Alzheimer’s Society. ​

Dr Ben Matthews
Deaf and Disability

Ben interprets BSL/English, and teaches at Queen Margaret University. He has interests in speech and language therapy and the importance of cultural models of disability, taking a person-centred approach to work as a health care professional.

Eilidh Quinn
Social Media Manager

Eilidh is our Social Media Manager and trainer in our management and communications subjects. She has worked in the third sector for the past 10 years specialising in education, project management and mental health. She has vast experience delivering and managing programmes that widen access to opportunities in diverse community settings across Scotland, South Africa and Tanzania.

Victoria Gardner

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Victoria is a collaborative learning facilitator who has worked on leadership, empowerment and social inclusion projects for over 15 years. She has contributed to various research reports for UK and EU audiences. She also conducts interviews and runs workshops for local and newly-arrived residents on the lived experience of communities within cities.

Denise Millan
Personal & Professional Development

Denise has Postgraduate qualifications in Education and is qualified in Marketing, Sustainable Development and Information Systems. An experienced trainer with Digital Bricks Learning, Denise also develops and delivers training on sustainability, is a business and employability mentor and a supply college lecturer. She is a qualified assessor and internal verifier.

Adam Cavill
Creative Director

Adam has been working in communications and design for 35 years. His expertise includes branding, graphic design, motion design, typography, and learning design. His clients have included Lloyds Bank, Credit Suisse, Standard Life, BT and The University of Edinburgh
