Digital Bricks researched and redesigned a programme of learning for teachers. Keeping Your Cool in School is a now a digital evolution of the popular Cool in School programme originally created in 2007.
Collaborating with Fife Council Education staff, Education Scotland, and Scottish Mediation, we worked with teachers across the region to transform the resource and meet the needs of today’s classrooms.
University of the Arts London (UAL) have been defining creative education since 1842, influencing learning, culture, industry and society on a global scale. Digital Bricks worked with UAL to upgrade their learning platform, undertaking user research to understand their needs and holding design workshops to create a new look LMS which balanced form and function. We usability tested the design with students and staff on campus at Central St Martins, receiving positive feedback.
Digital Bricks were fundamental in helping us kick-start our UX research journey and improve our LMS design as part of our moodle upgrade. In 2020, Digital Bricks worked with Children’s Health Scotland to quickly assemble a suite of educational and reassuring material to help children and teachers going into lockdown.
We created a week by week, online source of learning, information and games in our platform. Accounts were created for schools across the country and the programme was analysed through rigorous built in monitoring and tracking. Over 95% felt it was a positive experience during the pandemic.
