Accredited

Upon successful completion of a simple knowledge check and practice conversation, learners will be awarded a CPD certificate and an MHFResponder subscription with access to an online learning platform and app, giving qualified knowledge “in your pocket” when you need it.

Adaptable

We can tailor our materials to suit different organisations by branding and customising scenarios and case studies. For example, we’ve developed specific ‘add-on’ modules for the hospitality sector, children and young people, and the construction industry.

Learner centred

As an organisation teaching topics like Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, we prioritise meeting the diverse needs and preferences of our learners. We create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, with all materials and facilitation designed for accessibility.

Evidence based

Written by mental health experts, including professionals from the NHS, academia and research, the salutogenic understanding of health is core. The course is delivered by our specialist training team, which includes qualified psychologists and counsellors with in-depth knowledge and experience.

Interactive and flexible

We embrace technology-enhanced learning. Learn at your own time and pace through an accessible, intuitive platform rather than in the classroom if preferred, or learn by a blend of live sessions, interactive modules and in-person activities.

Real world learning

There is a strong connection between theory and practice. The course offers practical, real-world strategies and equips participants with a toolkit to carry forward and implement in everyday life.

Delivery

This course can be delivered face-to-face at your own venue or one of our partners’. It can also be delivered online, or in a blended format, using platforms like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Participants and organisers will have access to the learning platform where they can review materials, watch media resources, engage in interactive activities, and find links to deepen their understanding.

The live training workshops are well-paced with a good mix of presentation materials, interactive exercises, individual reflection and group discussions.

The standard course is around six hours of learning. It can be delivered over one day or broken up into bite-sized learning, depending on the needs of your learners.

All materials are provided through an easy-to-use online platform that also comes as an app for Apple and Android. The online space can be accessed during and after the training as a useful source for learners to refer back to and create their own communities of practice in mental health.
